My father is Santos C. Ret Jr. His parents are Emiliana Cruz and Santos P. Ret Sr., former coach of the Philippine Blue Girls. He has five authentic sisters and three extra ones. He was born during WWII during the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

My mother is Aurora C. Sobremesana. Their race originated in Zamboanga. Her parents are Vicenta Canlas and Lamberto Sobremesana Sr., a Former Police officer. She has four brothers and six sisters and another handful from somewhere else.

My parents met at Raxabago St. They were neighbors. They fell in love got married and made us. My siblings were made in Manila while I was made in Marikina.

My sister is Maria Rowena Ret Delansig married to Jose Delansig.

My brothers are Richard Ret and Ronald Allan Ret. They are married too.
